Mi17 - Flight Training Device

It provides for excellent flexibility in training of normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures as well as flight maneuvers for initial training, recurrent training and rating certification. A realistic Control Loading System (CLS) working in combination with vibrating seats creates a real immersive cockpit environment. Control feel, control forces and displacement characteristics correspond to that of the actual helicopter. The Visual System is capable of producing daylight, twilight, and night scenes upon a 180 degree horizontal and 40 degree vertical field of view, or better. The Instructor Operating Station (IOS) enables an instructor to quickly create any flight conditions, missions and scenarios as well as to control all major functions of the simulator.
